This is a mounted Original cyanotype print gold leaf each print is also stamped with my logo. I use the traditional cyanotype process with a contemporary twist each print is a one off piece of art. I create these with lots of love at my studio in Glynllifon Country Park North Wales. Each piece has been designed so it can be framed either portrait or landscape.
Cyanotype is a chemical composition which was invented by Sir John Herchel in 1842 he discovered the light sensitive solution could be used as a coating on paper and the sun to expose the image. The first ever illustrated photographic book was published in 1843 by Anna Atkins who was a botanist each book was hand made and used the cyanotype process.
